Members of the University Appeals Board are appointed by the President of the University, with student members being recommended by the legislative branch of the Student Government Association. The Appeals Board consists of a pool of eighteen faculty members, twelve students, and a Hearing Officer who shall be the Chair. The board is charged with hearing appeals involving academic and disciplinary matters. The University Appeals Board is the only entity on campus that can modify a grade.
