Formal Hearings Due process

The University will provide a formal hearing for an academic offense whenever a student is facing a notation of the offense on their transcript, probation, suspension, dismissal, expulsion, or a revocation of a degree.

When the formal hearing results in a finding of responsibility for a student, the student may appeal either the finding of responsibility or the sanction or both.  If there is a finding of no responsibility, then the University may not appeal.
